LOOKING at the attractive teenage policewoman on the recruitment posters from the 1970s it is hard to imagine she would become the country's first head of CID.
But beneath the 19-year-old shy smile lay a steely determination that saw Ellie Baker climb new heights for women in the then male dominated police force.
