CAPTAIN Michael Vaughan admitted the Durban weather surprised him after bad light prevented England completing their ninth successive victory in the second Test against South Africa.
Umpires Darrell Hair and Simon Taufel offered the light to ninth wicket pair AB de Villiers and Makhaya Ntini following an over from Steve Harmison.
