Warsaw Stock Exchange IPO could be held in H1 2005 - Polish Treasury Minister Socha
Warsaw. December 31. INTERFAX-EUROPE - The initial public offering (IPO) of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) could be held in the first half of 2005, Treasury Minister Jacek Socha said on Friday, as cited by Internet portal onet.pl.
"There is a possibility that the privatization of the WSE could be completed in H1 2005," Socha said.
Socha claims that the volume of the WSE offer wouldn't disrupt other IPOs taking place at that time. He did not specify how much of the stock exchange would be floated.
