Serving cheese with drinks or after dinner in lieu of or in addition to dessert has gained in popularity over the last few years. You can do it with panache - and without spending a penny - if you take a moment to look through your kitchen drawers and cupboards for little-used trays, boards and platters. If you don't unearth your own cake stands, breadboards or marble slabs, you'll find some of my favorites below.
