If you're going to successfully navigate the world of regionalism, you'll need to sharpen your acronym-identification abilities ASAP and PDQ.
There's NARC, ARS, HECA, MARC, etc.
But while you're analyzing acronyms, contemplate this amended cliche: When it comes to kick-starting regionalism, you need to put the organizational cart before the regional horse. In other words, say those from successful regions, you need to have a board, agency, organization--and yes, even an acronym--before you get started.
