Kelly's plight trivial
I hope City Councilor James Kelly was ashamed when he saw the cover photo of his plight over trash can placement juxtaposed with 7-year-old Karl Nilsson's plight to find his missing family ("Mayor, make my day," Dec. 29). Isn't Kelly embarrassed for taking a stand over a parking space in the same week a catastrophic event has taken the lives of tens of thousands and continues to cause suffering in millions more? If only Kelly chose to bring his determination, zeal and energy to raising funds and supplies for suffering human beings in crisis. The councilor should redeem himself by taking his trash can and filling it with checks made out to ...
