Warner Home Video is aiming high with a $100 suggested retail price for Lethal Weapon 3, the second of its two monster summer movies.

The third installment of the Mel Gibson-Danny Glover action series is coming to video on Dec. 2 (pre-book Nov. 19), a time frame two months shorter than Lethal Weapon 2, released in February 1990 at $24.98. At $99.99, Lethal Weapon 3 carries the highest suggested retail price ever for a Warner title. The studio was reportedly disappointed in sales of Lethal Weapon 2, a rare example of an R-rated title going direct to sellthrough.
