Jan. 1--FREDERICK, Md. -- Frederick County residents have more to look forward to in 2005 -- more money in their paychecks.
The Maryland Department of Planning estimates that per-capita personal income will grow at 2.43 percent annually between 2005 and 2010, from $36,104 to $40,709. The only county expected to grow at a faster rate is St. Mary's County, at 2.68 percent, though the dollar amount is less than Frederick County.
These numbers reflect real growth and do not include inflation, which will make them even higher.
