LOS ANGELES -- Junior Achievement of Southern California (JA of Southern California) announced today that it has received a Citigroup Foundation grant in the amount of $100,000 supporting the implementation of JA programs in high schools and middle schools throughout Southern California. The grant awarded to JA of Southern California includes $60,000 for high school based financial literacy and workforce preparation programs and $40,000 for Smith Barney's Young Investor's Education Program. Maura Markus, President of Citibank North America, presented a check to JA of Southern California.
