BAGHDAD, Iraq -- A recent study by a Baghdad University engineering graduate student, using load calculation software, has been able to determine the cooling loads for several high-profile projects to restore buildings that were either looted or destroyed during the war in Iraq.

One of the buildings requiring updated HVAC equipment is a Baghdad theater. Graduate student Amir Khider was in charge of performing the engineering study of the building. Khider used Carmel Software's Loadsoft[TM] 6.0 load calculation software to calculate the total cooling load in the building.
