SANDY, Utah -- PC Laptops today introduced the "K2" 987 high-end portable computer, an industry-leading laptop computer featuring a 1 Gigabyte (GB) dual-channel memory system, 3.6 Gigahertz (GHz) Pentium 4 processor, 17-inch WSXGA active matrix display and a 256 Megabyte (MB) nVidia 16X PCI-Express video card.
Other features of the "K2" 987 include a built-in DVD+/-R/RW 24X DVD burner and combo DVD ROM/CD-RW drive, an internal 802.11a/b/g or 802.11b/g Wireless LAN card, internal Bluetooth miniPCI, two on-board FireWire (IEEE1394) ports, four USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports, a 6-in-1 Card Reader, 32-bit CardBus and one Type II PCMCIA slot.
