Jan. 10--Showtime's winter 2005 event marks the 15th anniversary of what's become one of the most important wholesale home fabric shows in the Western Hemisphere. Organizers with the International Textile Market Association, the event sponsor, report they'll celebrate the anniversary of the first Showtime trade show with an event in July. The first Showtime was held in July 1990.
The ITMA isn't quite ready to release details of how they'll celebrate, according to ITMA director Catherine Morsell, but she said organizers expect a good crowd for this week's event, which begins today and concludes Thursday.
