Last season, Gerry McNamara spent the last eight minutes of a loss to Seton Hall on the Syracuse bench, nursing a pulled groin muscle.
On Saturday night, McNamara spent the game's last 4 1/2 minutes of Syracuse's game against Seton Hall enjoying the Orange's 75-50 victory over the Pirates.
McNamara, who had a season-low six points in that loss at Seton Hall last season, led Syracuse with 23 points on 4-for-7 shooting from 3-point range. The 23 points were his second-highest total of the season. McNamara scored 29 points against Siena on Nov. 27.
