BUENA, N.J. -- IGI, INC. (AMEX:IG) announced that, assuming successful completion of the proposed merger between Manhattan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Tarpan Therapeutics, Manhattan Pharmaceuticals intends to pursue a Phase II clinical trial for PTH (1-34) using IGI's Novasome(R) nano-vesicular topical delivery technology.
As previously announced, IGI signed a sublicense agreement with Tarpan for the clinical uses of PTH (1-34) relating to the regulation of cell differentiation and proliferation for treatment of skin disorders using IGI's Novasome(R) nano-vesicular topical delivery technology.
