SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Latest Call Demonstrates Governor's Continued Support for Strengthening, Expansion of Charter School Movement
Governor Schwarzenegger, in his 2005-06 Budget Summary released yesterday, said that he will introduce alternative charter school authorizer legislation this legislative session. The Governor's proposal, which will receive strong support from the charter school community, will represent the strongest effort to improve the oversight process since charter school law was enacted in 1992.
