CHICAGO, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Salvation Army continues to minister to millions of people in South Asia recovering from the devastating tsunami that killed approximately 150,000 people and left whole communities in ruins.
In India, Salvation Army relief teams are providing daily necessities to residents in coastal areas affected by the disaster. The Salvation Army has started making plans for the reconstruction of homes and villages, including working with the Indian government to reestablish two villages in the Kanyakumari District on the southernmost tip of India.
