WHEN Robbie Williams signed the most lucrative music deal in British recording history he screamed: "I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams."
In the first year of the estimated [pounds sterling]80million five-album contract, signed in October 2002, he received [pounds sterling]17.5 million out of profits from recordings and tours.
Now it has emerged that the former Take That singer has taken a vast pay cut during a "rest" between albums.
Accounts filed at Companies House reveal that Williams, 30, paid himself "only" [pounds sterling]2 million in the year to the end of March last year.
