Jan. 12--LOWELL, Mass. -- A 57-year-old Pelham, N.H., woman was awarded $500,000 after a jury found her boss at the Raytheon facility in Tewksbury sexually harassed her, and forced her to quit when she complained.
After a weeklong trial late last month, the Lowell Superior Court jury awarded Judith Williamson damages after finding Spero Harakas, Williamson's supervisor, liable for sexually harassing her while she worked as his executive secretary.
The jury also found that Raytheon Co. failed to properly respond to charges that Williamson, a 16-year employee, had been subjected to harsh and unwarranted treatment after she ...
