Article: Fourteen elected to board, seven contested races set.

Fourteen lawyers are running in seven races in the 2005 Bar Board of Governors election. Another 16 have been elected or re-elected to the board without opposition.

In elections for the Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, 12 attorneys were elected without opposition, while 20 attorneys are running in contested races for eight seats.

Ballots in the races will be mailed on or around March 1 and must be returned to the Bar's election office no later than midnight March 21. Again this year, Bar members will have the choice of voting by paper ballot or electronically via the Internet. Instructions on voting will be included with the ballots.
