No Escape
We sign in.
We see him during
visiting hours
and only during
special visiting hours
because
according to da warden
"Those are
the rules."
Everyday dey feed him
da same banana mush
and if he no ack up,
dey give 'era small cup water.
Can tell from his face,
I know he like break out
so he can go grab
one massive plate lunch
from Masu's.
I know he raddah play Paiyut
wit da boys down on River Street.
He no like
watch old Gene Kelly movies,
sing "You Are My Sunshine,"
and toss da around da beach ball
with all da oddah imnates. ...
