The inner leadership of the Oswego County Legislature will remain largely unchanged in 2005.
The only new appointment is the vice chairman of the legislature.
County lawmakers voted last week to keep their leaders in place - with one exception.
Greg Osetek, R-Oswego, was appointed Jan. 4 as vice chairman. He replaced former vice chairman Carl Anson, R-Altmar.
"In 2004, the legislature committed itself to re-thinking the way it did business," said Fred Beardsley, R-Hastings, who nominated Osetek. "That took strong, involved leadership." Osetek displayed that leadership, Beardsley said.
