LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Compton's NewMedia today announced its support of the Philips CD-I system with a new version of Compton's Encyclopedia. Through agreement with Philips and Philips Interactive Media of America, Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia (R) (CD-I version valued at $299.00) will be offered free with each Philips CD-I player.
