Jan. 14--Workers at the Holiday Inn Holidome and Conference Center may lose their jobs later this year.
Johnstown-based Crown American Hotels is selling the West Manchester Township property and 10 other Pennsylvania hotels on Jan. 31.
The company notified the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry that 809 people statewide will lose their jobs because of the sale. The job losses are expected to occur between March 10 and March 23.
Allison Troy Finui, spokeswoman for the company, would not answer any questions concerning the sale, including who is buying the hotels or how many people work at the West Manchester Township Holiday Inn.
