Jan. 15--FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Military contractor Lear Siegler Services Inc. is rehiring workers laid off in December, a company official said.
Bob Dunbar, director of operations for Lear Siegler, said Friday that the company is ramping up its work force again, probably to the pre-layoff level of 300. In December, the company laid off about 100 people.
The company also has leased a building across the street from its location in the former Cutler-Hammer building in the Cumberland County industrial park.
It will be using both facilities.
