SEOUL, Jan. 16 (Yonhap) -- North Korea has revamped its legal code to make it mandatory for its security forces to get warrants before arresting a suspect and to allow inheritance of property, a recent examination of its legal system revealed Sunday.The changes to the law, including the criminal justice system, took place last year and were published in a code book in August. They encompass 13 new laws and rules, legal experts here who looked over a copy of the new legal code said.
