FOR many of us, New Year's resolutions are broken as quickly as they are made.
But one diehard Coventry City fan must keep his promise to stay calm during football matches if he is to stay alive until the end of the season.
Ron Poole, 76, thought the best way to enjoy the holidays was to watch his beloved Coventry City play Sheffield United with his family and friends on Boxing Day.
But he was so overcome with emotion when Coventry's Stern John missed a penalty that he suffered a major heart attack.
