Jan. 16--You know you've been there: low on cash, starving for a burger and fries, desperately searching for spare change between the seats, in the cupholders, just about anywhere.
But technology changes everything and the fast-food industry is no exception.
From Hardee's to McDonald's, Wendy's and Taco Bell, the credit card is becoming a widely used and accepted form of payment at the counter and the drive-through window.
