Jan. 17--Orlando resident Mary Hayes took over as chairman of the Florida Restaurant Association last week, assuming a top role with the trade group that lobbies on behalf of the state's eateries. Hayes, who is area manager for Downtown Disney restaurants -- including Cap'n Jack's, The Missing Link Sausage Co. and various outdoor concessions -- is a 20-year industry veteran.
