Jan. 18--4-Bears Cafe & Catering has changed locations, and co-owner Angel Pooler couldn't be more satisfied.
"We are so ecstatic. I've got people back I can chatter with, and we have windows we can see daylight with. It's just wonderful," Pooler said of the firm's new quarters at 1700 E. Iron.
The location is the Board of Trade restaurant, formerly home to long-time operators the Gene Revels' family and Lala's Catering. When that business closed, Board of Trade officials approached Pooler and her business partner, chef Gailyn Dworshak, about taking over.
4-Bears was formerly located at 1501/2 S. Broadway.
