IF YOU go to church this Sunday you may sit on a pew, kneel on a bench or sip communion wine from a chalice.
If you do it is very likely the pew, the bench, chalice and the wine will all have been made or supplied by Hayes & Finch.
Started in 1882 by William Hayes and James Finch, the company now turns over around pounds 6m a year supplying churches across the UK and, shortly, will be attempting to break into the US market.
``We supply everything a church would need, '' said chief executive John Mann. ``The furniture, candles, wine, vestments - everything you could imagine beyond the actual bricks and mortar. ''
