TODDLERS are being given lessons in political correctness after teachers were told to rewrite one of the world's oldest nursery rhymes.
Instead of singing 'Baa baa black sheep', pre-school children in Scotland are being encouraged to sing 'Baa baa happy sheep' and other variations.
During arts and crafts lessons toddlers are also being instructed to make black ducks as well as the traditional yellow ones.
The moves, which education chiefs say are designed to promote racial equality among youngsters, were condemned as ridiculous and extreme.
