A DAY'S headlines, picked at random from the Scottish press in November, showed 12 out of 17 stories about young people were negative ones.
Reports ranged from bullies at school to alcohol and diet scares.
While these are serious issues that need to be covered, the emphasis on problems like these in the media, without the balance of more positive stories, creates a negative image of young people in general.
