The systems used to meet the newly-launched Precision Strike technology thrust will come into sharper focus in the next 12-18 months, a senior DoD official who oversees the program reports.
"I don't think we could do it any faster," Roger Fisher, the Director of Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E) official in charge of the Precision Strike Initiative, told reporters Monday at a Pentagon briefing.
