OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 20 (AScribe Newswire) -- The University of California Board of Regents voted today to pursue continued management and operations of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory by submitting a competitive proposal to the federal Department of Energy.
Acting on the recommendation of UC President Robert C. Dynes, the regents voted to grant Dynes the authority to submit a proposal by the department's Feb. 9, 2005, deadline.
