The new Manta Ray from Sevylor (323/727-6013; sevylor.com) is another example of how PVC plastic can be shaped into creative and imaginative forms to provide a new experience for tow sports. Most tubes are shaped like a circle or triangle. Sevylor, which has been designing PVC products for water fun since 1948, now makes a tube that looks biological, not geometrical. Manta rays can get big, and so Sevylor's Manta Ray is 11 feet wide and 8 feet, 7 inches long.
