WHO WOULD HAVE thought it possible some 30 years ago that a small group of individuals from the Seattle area could pioneer a chapter and propel it into the national spotlight by producing not just one, but three RIMS national presidents? But that's just what the Washington Chapter did. And given the number of members in RIMS today, it is doubtful that the Society will ever again see two national presidents arising from the same chapter and company (Boeing), as E.B. "Woody" Paris (1964-1965) and Walter D. Woodard (19731974) did.
