For too long, women have stood alone. They've stood alone trying to end violence by men in their lives. They've stood alone struggling for equal rights and political power in a world controlled by men. They've stood alone demanding a voice in the affairs of their communities, always under the watchful eyes of men. And they've stood alone, literally, at the stove, at the sink, at their babies' cradles.
