As she opened the Association of Graphic Communications (AGC) Center for Graphic Arts Education 2004 Awards Ceremony, AGC Chair Diane Romano voiced an opinion that seemed to be more and more evident throughout the course of the day: "AGC is the leading organization in education."
While this ceremony, co-sponsored by the Education Foundation for the Graphic Arts, had been a separate gathering in the past, this year it was moved to AGC's Nov. 4 Graphic Communications Day (GCD) in Madison Square Garden. This provided an additional draw for New York City's fastest-growing graphic arts trade show.
