As I have traveled between ship and shore supply sites over the past few months, I observed the outstanding work of our Supply Corps officer and supply enlisted and civilian team. The past few years have tested our ability to keep our fleet ready to fight, and you have all done a superb job. But now we must focus on the next steps.
In the words of the CNO, "Warfighting capability is a given for our Navy." Three major initiatives of the Supply Corps and Naval Supply Systems Command are aimed at increasing readiness and leveraging greater efficiencies to support that capability.
