Andrew Lewis, recently named music director of the Elgin Choral Union, is a family man.
And for his second concert as conductor, Lewis selected the program for the group's back-to-back holiday performances, titled "Songs of the Holiday Season," with his two sons - George, 2 1/2, and William, 8 months - in mind.
"I chose music that I would want to go hear, that would interest families with kids," Lewis said.
With pieces such as "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," "The First Noel," "Joy to the World," and an arrangement of Christmas carols, the group will perform its annual holiday show ...
