MIAMI -- PHD Audiophile Sound Systems, maker of hand-crafted Italian car audio speakers, announced at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show plans to enter the U.S. market with a complete line of speaker products that features the Esacoil, the world's first ever six-voice coil subwoofer.
While the audio market has developed new technologies in terms of music reproduction, the speaker--the last link--has not changed in more than a century. "The debut of the Esacoil presents tremendous opportunity for PHD and its lines of products because it represents a new concept in the acoustic field," said Ed Renner, VP Sales & Marketing, PHD Audiophile Sound Systems.
