When Allyson decided to unpack her winter clothes, she didn't think it would land her in the emergency room. But a quick brown spider had other ideas. Allyson disturbed the spider's web and was bitten.
Within two hours Allyson was experiencing severe pain and felt feverish and weak. Since there is no real first aid for this type of bite, her father took her to an emergency room. Treatment for Allyson involved the use of cortisone-type drugs.
