AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. - Nothing says Super Bowl like shrimp boats and hermit crabs. At least if you're on Amelia Island Super Bowl Weekend.
The good folks at the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce have put together the Fernandina Super Shellfish Feast, a two-day festival Feb. 4 and 5, to include boatloads of seafood treats, hermit crab races and a shrimp boat parade.
The event is sanctioned by the Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee as an official Super Bowl event.
