ISLAMABAD, January 24 (PPI): Pakistan Navy Expeditionary Force, comprising PNS Moawin, Khaibar with embarked (Seaking and Alouette) Helicopters and complete paraphernalia of the Naval Field Hospital on arriving `Lhoksemawe', an eastern port of Indonesia has commenced humanitarian assistance operations. Over 600 tonnes of relief goods have been dispatched to affected areas in Lhoksemawe, Sigli, North Aceh and Bireuen in coordination with local authorities. On arrival the Pakistan Navy SSG divers (seals) have been called upon by the Indonesian authorities to help in recovering the bodies struck in the cement factory located near Banda Ache the most devastated area of Tsunami ...
