A 4.4 percent increase in spending.
A 7.1 percent increase in the tax levy.
A 2.4 percent increase in state aid.
That's what the first glance at a 2005-2006 Auburn school budget plan shows, school board members were told Tuesday night by Business Administrator Marianne R. O'Connor.
Those numbers could change between now and April 12, which is when the board is scheduled to adopt a new budget for presentation to voters in May.
