TAIPEI, Jan 28 Asia Pulse - The Taiwan Solidarity Union (TSU) will promote a law to counter a proposed "anti-secession law" by mainland China, TSU Chairman Su Chin-chiang said Thursday.
Su made the remarks during his inauguration in Taipei. On hand for the ceremony were Vice President Annette Lu, former President Lee Teng-hui, outgoing Premier Yu Shyi-kun, Legislative Yuan Speaker Wang Jin-pyng, acting chairman of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Ker Chien-ming, and DPP Vice Secretary-General Lee Ying-yuan.
