NEW YORK -- Bright, bold colors made a strong impact as the International Fashion Fabric Exhibition opened with unexpectedly strong attendance at the Javits Convention Center.
Both exhibitors and the show's organizers said the show, which began a three-day run Tuesday, had definitely benefited by running concurrently with several other shows at the Javits Center, including the large NAMSB Show. But attendance figures were not immediately available. The fabric event drew a larger number of men's wear producers because of the NAMSB Show.
