Jan. 27--With home retailer Crate & Barrel raking in record profits at Bridgeport Village, the focus turns to who else will fill out the tenant list when the regional entertainment and shopping draw opens May 19.
At least 20 companies, including clothiers J. Jill and Coldwater Creek, have inked long-term leases. But in what amounts to a multimillion-dollar game of musical chairs, the two companies' leaving their nearby locations for Bridgeport Village provides insight into the art and science of high-priced deals.
