Guida-Seibert Dairy is on the "fast track' as first U.S. licensee of a technology that affords long shelf stability for cartoned juices and drinks.
While Vero Beach chose not to pasteurize its new juice (see p. 34), Guida-Seibert Dairy has become the first U.S. licensee of "post-pasteurization" technology.
The New Britain, Conn., dairy is using FBI Brands' Pop Pak system (see PD, January '91, p. 32) for its new Fast-Trac juices and juice drinks in a single-serve, 250-mL gabletop carton.
