MANY THINGS GO INTO THE COIN-OP BEAUTIFUL JUDGING. We look at the interior and exterior layouts, the color schemes, customer amenities and special features, just to name a few things. However, in simpler terms, the contest is all about trying to give the customer a great place to do his or her laundry.
There are first- and second-place winners in two categories: coin laundries of less than 2,500 square feet and coin laundries of more than 2,500 square feet. There is one award for rehabbed laundries (all sizes). The rest of the selected laundries are honorable mention winners.
